Marion has lived her life behind her camera, hoping to produce films. When she moves to LA for college and begins taking film classes, her life feels like a dream. Her professor encourages her to submit a film to an upcoming film festival, and Marion teams up with her friend Nick to make a documentary about life as a freshman. Then Marion meets Hadley, and suddenly Marion's documentary is less about what it's like to be a freshman, and more about love, identity, and understanding yourself.
