Fight or Flight

A few days have passed since Theo's encounter with the goddess Nyx, who bestowed upon him a portion of her power and the ability to create and utilize shadow matter. Now he must comes to terms with the mantle of responsibly she has given him. He not only tries to master his new-found powers but comes to terms that being a Hero might not be all that it seems. I am a support worker by trade, and a soon to be father, I write a little during my lunch breaks and want to spread my stories with the world. Within a Shadow's Veil is a series of short stories centered around a young man named Theo who on the eve of his 15th Birthday discovered he can manipulate shadow matter and bend the very darkness within him to his whim.
