Amy jolts awake with a pounding headache, chilled by darkness she doesn't understand. Moments ago, she was dreaming-running through a grocery store searching for low-fat food. But this is no dream. When she reaches for her quilt, her hand won't move. All Amy Crockett wanted was a peaceful, all-expenses-paid stay at a weight-loss retreat. Instead, she finds herself trapped in a nightmare-and soon running from the law. She has no memory of what's been done to her, but one thing is clear: the doctor in charge of the so-called "fat farm" is hiding something far more sinister than nutrition lessons. Everyone thinks Amy has had a mental breakdown...everyone except the sheriff. Mike is the only one who believes her, and together they must uncover the truth before more patients disappear. What really happens at this idyllic mountain retreat? And how far will its leaders go in the name of a "noble" mission? As Amy and Mike dig deeper, danger closes in-and so do unexpected feelings neither of them can ignore. Fat Farm is a gripping thriller set in the Rocky Mountains, exploring how good intentions can twist into something terrifying when taken too far.
