Fascinating Temptations book blurb revised Love knows no boundaries. In the midst of hate and despair, a beautiful love story blossoms. Born worlds apart but inexplicably drawn together, can their love survive in a society divided by hate? A rich boy with the world as his feet. A brilliant girl with nothing but a sharp intelligence. A love that defies society. Born into impoverished Yoruba society, Omotola is the brightest student in her high school with aspirations to become a doctor and change the way women are viewed in her town. However, her life changes when she tricks her brother into taking her to the exclusive, all-boys Lion Club, and she meets Akin, the club's president. Akin is a blue blood to the core, heir to the Akdrend conglomerate and son of the wealthiest man in West Africa. However, despite having the world at his feet, Akin has no interest in his father's debauched lifestyle of wealth, privilege, and multiple wives. Instead, he plans to join the priesthood to avoid an arranged highborn marriage. Then he meets Omotola. Captivated by her beauty and spirit, he falls for her, and before long, the two are engaged. Soon, Omotola is caught up in the enchanting world of luxury and aristocracy she is marrying into and eager to explore the intoxicating feelings Akin awakens in her. Akin, while infatuated with his bride-to-be, is determined to stay true to their cultural expectations and finish their studies before marrying. However, no one supports their love for each other except Kola, Omotola's brother and Akin's best friend, who's engaged in a tumultuous love affair of his own, and Omotola's alcoholic father, who sees their union as a way to increase his own status
