Falling For My Rival is a heartfelt second-chance romance about lost love, unexpected homecomings, and two people discovering that sometimes the life you thought you wanted is not the life that makes you happiest.
Emma Collins returns to her hometown after her grandmother's death and learns that she has just ninety days to reopen her grandmother's beloved bakery, The Sugar Maple, or risk losing the property. Standing in the way is Noah Bennett-the man who once broke her heart, the man she has spent nine years trying not to think about, and the owner of the neighboring hardware store who has plans of his own for the building.
Noah never expected Emma to come back. He certainly never expected the old feelings between them to return so quickly. As the two former sweethearts find themselves working side by side to save the bakery, their rivalry gradually gives way to partnership, trust, and a love neither of them ever truly left behind.
But saving The Sugar Maple becomes about much more than meeting a deadline. Together, Emma and Noah must overcome renovation problems, unexpected setbacks, family complications, and a corporate development threatening the future of their small-town Main Street. Along the way, Emma must decide whether to continue the life she carefully built elsewhere or finally admit where her heart-and her sense of home-really belong.
With the help of Noah's daughter Lucy, supportive friends, family, and an entire community determined to preserve what makes their town special, Emma and Noah begin building something neither expected: a future together.
Falling For My Rival is a warm, emotional romance filled with second chances, small-town charm, family, community, rekindled love, and the promise of finding your way home. Perfect for readers who enjoy second-chance romance, single-dad romance, small-town romance, childhood sweethearts reunited, and happily-ever-after love stories.
