Nield tells how she lived for decades in a prison of confusion, fear, and terror. Her experiences, coupled with difficult decisions, were steppingstones that molded her into a stronger braver person.
The story culminates with the courageous steps to extract her back to Canada in 2019 so she could resume her Canadian citizenship, and get urgent health care.
