The potential to drive positive triple bottom-line impact-people, planet, and prosperity-in organizations lies in the untapped passion of informal champions. Whether a business just starting its sustainability journey or a global corporation in need of activating its sustainability in a meaningful way, Exponential Impact, reminds us the key is ultimately the people who carry out the work.
Sustainability champions take on the role of leading positive impact in their organizations, often in an informal capacity and without being asked. They hold a secret to transforming organizations. This book amplifies their journeys, adds the wisdom and strategic insights from the author's thirty-five years in both corporate and startup environments, and offers best practices for initiating and evolving social and environmental programs.
John Bushman, Co-Director, Global Sustainable Tourism Program at Florida International University agrees that "Dr. Benton hits the nail squarely on the head with this approach to the very difficult-to-embrace enigma of sustainability in any organization."
