Escape From Luminous

She was calmly standing on a small balcony overlooking their section of the city. He was a little out of breath, so as he came up beside her, she took his arm to steady him. They would often stand here together looking out over their world. Both of them were in love with Luminous which was the cities name. Everything glowed in a subtle golden-white hue... the crystalline buildings, pathways and streets were all set in never-ending twilight that glittered with stars. It gave the impression that the sparkling city was on an island floating in deep space.
To Shian, home was a beautiful dream full of childhood memories until one strange night when everything changed. Now if he is to survive, he must escape from the nightmare that is Luminous and nothing will ever be the same again ...
