Entropy Ghosts and Other First Contact Problems

ENTROPY GHOSTS AND OTHER FIRST CONTACT PROBLEMSFirst contact was never supposed to involve extradimensional predators, impossible blue boxes, or a woman who treats the laws of physics like polite suggestions. When the Terran Federation starship Constitution encounters a threat from beyond known space-and beyond known reality-Fleet Admiral Kendra Cassidy and Captain Aiyana Cassidy find themselves facing an enemy that doesn't just want conquest. It wants erasure. Entire timelines reduced to raw material.Enter the Professor.Brilliant. Infuriating. Dangerously curious. She arrives with answers no one asked for, solutions that come with footnotes the universe hasn't approved yet, and a habit of saving civilizations while smiling like she knows the punchline. As the situation escalates from first contact to full-blown cosmic catastrophe, Kendra, Aiyana, and their crew must decide how much they're willing to risk-personally, professionally, and existentially-to stop something that should never have existed. What follows is a high-stakes collision of space exploration, alien contact, chaotic genius, and found family-where command decisions matter, humor is a survival trait, and sacrifice comes with consequences that linger long after the stars settle.Set in the Cassidyverse, Entropy Ghosts and Other First Contact Problems is a cinematic, character-driven space opera about curiosity, courage, and the dangerous business of poking the impossible until it pokes back. If you want strong FMCs who don't wait to be rescued, wit, and stories that will keep you up until 2am, then you're in the right place! What doesn't Adam Gaffen write?Well, hold on. He might be on it now.So far his Cassidyverse contains Science Fiction, Fantasy, Thriller, and Rom-Com, with Dark Romance on the horizon. He's a member of the Science Fiction Writers of America, and the Heinlein Society. He and his wife are owned by a pack of dogs and cats.
