About

Using the symbolism behind punctuation marks to separate poems into five meaningful categories, Ellipsis dives into the deepest parts of the Christian experience. The dark, the light, the parts no one really wants to talk about but probably should: all of these are necessary and real. Throughout the collection, the lyrical poetry shifts from a raw perspective of grief and pain to an eventual place of healing, while still acknowledging the struggles that remain.
By showcasing themes of depression, anxiety, trust, doubt, and healing, Ellipsis puts on display the aspects of life that are often labeled within Christian circles as "ungodly" or "wrong". The poems in this collection are aimed at providing a space of understanding to those experiencing the same thoughts.
