For one, the scary part is already done. It's hard to die twice.
Raeden was an outcast her whole life. It was no wonder that nobody noticed when she went missing,
let alone realized she'd been murdered.
There's a tricky thing about violent deaths. They're sticky, seizing the life of the person but also the emotions and memories from the soul as it departs. This left Raeden with two choices: Retrieve her memories of her murder, or remain a spirit. Not a tough decision to make… for most.
With two reapers assigned to her case, she's thrust back to her world. Question is, will she stave off her own ambitions long enough to save herself?
