"Ducks: A True Story" is a picture book about two mallards and a farm duck who lived on a pond along Loudoun Orchard Road, near Leesburg, Virginia, in the U.S.A. They were inseparable, and beloved of all the people who traveled that road. These ducks quietly lived "found family" before the term came into public awareness, and their friendship is recounted here in words that will appeal to readers aged 0-7, accompanied by intricate illustrations in the abstract line-art style.
Fourteen years after it was completed, and thanks to the preservation and retrieval efforts of the U.S. Copyright Office, "Ducks: A True Story" is finally available to readers everywhere.
Enjoy an optimistic storytime with your little one, today!
