Typically delivered on a stage or microphone, Dreaded Thoughts allows spoken word poetry to be in written form. Samuel Agbonkpolo fell in love with the art after giving his first monologue in the sixth grade. Two decades later, writing continues to be his outlet.
In this book, he puts his pen to the paper and lets his mind go. See how pictures are painted of dreaded situations that have occurred as well as the anxiety that comes with being a black man, son, husband, and father with dreadlocks in today's society.
This book provides a creative way of addressing traumas, dilemmas, and hidden blessings experienced daily. Whether you have a lot on your mind, a lot to say, or both, Dreaded Thoughts has words for you.
