Thrasher never takes risky chances with his freedom, so when Johanna approaches him and asks for his help to get to the refugee camp and escape the New Order, he does what he's sworn never to do-he helps her escape. His decision will change the fate of the refugees and destroy the little amount of good left in him.
Johanna has two choices: go willingly into the repro-M order, or infiltrate the refugee camp and live on the outside where only the rebels survive. She never plans to fall for the survivalist who helps her escape. With pressure mounting, will she follow through with her assignment, or lose the love of her life?
Warning: Conspiracy theories, the end of the world, and love in the midst of desperation
