Sandra ten Hoope is a successful Corporate Lawyer. Like many professional women in toxic relationships, she spent years hiding the extent of her double life. When she left the office for the day, she was abused, emotionally, physically and financially, by three men; The Womaniser, The Abuser and The Addict. In this honest and compelling account, she recalls life-changing events including her near-death experience at the hands of The Abuser, who unleashed a brutal and sustained attack lasting six hours. Do Not Try HIM At Home provides a brave message to any woman in a damaging relationship. Look for the signs and if you see them, know that there is a way to escape and be able to rewrite your story. Sandra is now using her experience and extensive corporate mentoring and coaching skills to help women recognise the patterns of abuse, and re-build themselves one step at a time. As a Toxic Relationship Recovery Expert, she's helping them take the steps needed to find themselves again. Do Not Try HIM At Home raises awareness that professional, high achieving, successful women, can end up in toxic relationships. Sandra offers support to women who silently suffered in toxic relationships, managed to escape, and wish to rebuild their confidence and trust.
