In this immersive, plot-driven fantasy of dragons and political instability you will find yourself turning page after page in earnest to get to the end.
When the family dynamic shifts for the royal family of Regnum, Sera finds herself in the vulnerable situation of being the spare to the throne. After a near fatal attempt on her life, she is stuck in an abyss with the Creation Goddess who provides her with a new perspective and destiny to follow. Once her soul returns to her healing body, she awakes with a new mission in life - find the black dragon and to hone her new abilities of Sight and Healing.
For Elek, the Dragon Prince, the idea of destiny is a device used to distract him from his duty to his country. When his father orders him to marry the new princess of Regnum (Sera), Elek is taken aback by her naivete and impulsive acceptance of his proposal with no questions asked. However, he has larger problems than being forced down the aisle. With the fae attacking his borders to the south, he is left uncertain if he can protect both his country and Sera - especially when the Fairy King expresses interest in her as well.
