"I am the child poet, the voice of adolescent pain." Written in her early years, R. R. Peace poetry recounts the struggles, hopes, and contradictions of a Generation X soul wrestling with love, identity, and uncertainty. This collection is a time capsule of the teen angst and loss of innocence and childhood. Every line expresses yearning, strength, and a quest for meaning. "Peace's eloquent, autobiographical verse is punctuated with a raw vulnerability and honesty, detailing an artistic and human awakening that's at once painful and joyous." Leslie Gray Streeter, author of "Black Widow" and "Family & Other Calamities"
