About

If everything were always good and smooth, life would be monotonous. The ups and downs of life are what make it interesting. The lessons we learn, the challenges we overcome or the ones from which we gain wisdom make it a beautiful journey. If life were always smooth, there would be no stories to tell. The fact that some survived through a cancer treatment or had a work challenge provides interesting stories which would be told in future to give encouragement, chills, tears or even laughter. But sometimes, the downside of these challenges might feel overwhelming. If you are going through a stage for the first time or a season you have never been in, it's pretty easy to want to give up. Still, if you understand the resources available to you as a Christian, and by resources, I mean the word of God, the power of God, and the community of the brethren that gives comfort, you will understand that you're at an advantage. And that advantage should build resilience, helping you overcome any challenge that comes your way. So if you're going through a storm or find that you give up easily, this book is for you. I pray that as you read on, the words in this book meet you where you are and give you the resilience you need for your journey. .
