DISTANCE LEARNING. How can parents make a difference in the education of their children due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Headlines inform us that our Nation/World is "staying in shelter" in the interest of public health. Remote learning school and work from home has become the norm. Overnight camps seems highly unlikely, presently many swimming pools, beaches, parks and playgrounds are experiencing or facing closures of unforeseen opening dates. Parks avoid crowds and playgrounds remain closed. Parents are wondering how much longer will they be faced with the task of trying to keep kids occupied and indoors during this pandemic. During summer breaks, when children are also encouraged to go to the library and read books, the challenge is still prominent in the lives of the parents. With global students at home and not in regular classrooms, parents have a dual role of being a parent and educator. Children and teenagers are more likely to succeed in school and life when we empower, motivate, and inspire them. This guide includes educational, motivational, inspirational and spiritual support for those students. Our children's outlook on life depends on sustaining an abiding HOPE, maintaining family bonds, preserving friendships and staying healthy and positive, looking forward to a brighter FUTURE. Filled with Activity Worksheets, College Countdown Chart, tips and strategies, this book is written to guide the next generation.
