Kyle Jovankah bears the scars of an attempt to end his life. He willingly becomes a shadow, avoiding social interactions. That is, until Emily Martin-a girl with much to live for-shows an interest in Kyle and draws him out of the shadows. After a tragedy, Kyle has to learn to live on his own. But love can cross all boundaries, and Kyle finds the strength in Emily's spirit and acceptance from her family. I like to read and write about unique situations and take the road less traveled with my characters. A lot of my stories are based on real life situations, skewed just a bit to protect the innocent as well as the guilty parties involved. I devote a lot of my time to characters, usually fleshing out everything that could possible be said about them so they are almost like friends (or close acquaintances).
