Saying hello and goodbye is one aspect of having good manners and showing respect for other people. It's especially important for people to say hello and goodbye if it's been said to them. We teach people to be polite because we want them to understand that being rude is hurtful and disrespectful. This book explores situations, in which it is polite to say "Hello" and "Goodbye" and why greeting others is important.
