About

DEAR TALES is a monthly zine of short stories and poems, sometimes by different writers. The stories are all family oriented - no profanity, erotica or excessive violence. Stories have conclusive and upbeat endings. Also included in the zine are flash fiction sketch prompts. Volume 18 includes: A general fiction short story "The Cook's List" by Linda L. Rigsbee, short western story by L. L. Rigsbee "The Lonely Rancher", a short romantic fiction "Office Valentine" by Linda Louise Rigsbee, a short youth story "The Goat Ate My Homework" by Linda L. Rigsbee, a poem "Heartfelt Thanks, by Linda L. Rigsbee, and a sketch prompt response, "Jealousy," by Linda L. Rigsbee.DEAR TALES, A Family Circular accepts submissions from new authors. Rigsbee is an award-winning, multi-genre author. She has published more than 50 books since 1986. She writes non-fiction and fiction in story lengths from flash fiction to novels.
