Prayers have been answered. Hell has frozen over. The Gallagher brothers have finally gotten back together. Only it's not to play music - it's to solve a murder. Recently, the club of celebrities-turned-sleuths has exploded with names like Barack Obama, Queen Elizabeth II and Taylor Swift appearing on the list. Liam and Noel add a touch of rock n' roll to that exclusive group.
As songwriting superstar Noel Gallagher arrives in the tiny village of Little Abbotsbee, the one thing on his mind is selling a treasured guitar. But when the buyer turns up murdered, the police name Noel as a prime suspect. After all, he was one of the last people to see the victim alive.
The other person: Noel's estranged brother, the legendary Liam f@#$-ing Gallagher.
Shackled together, the lads take on the impossible: track suspects, locate the true killer and endure each other's presence for over three minutes. Narrated by Noel with his trademark snark, the adventure unfolds through ramshackle, psychedelic, aggressive diatribes only the Gallaghers can deliver.
A parody cozy mystery that's 100% safe for work (assuming you work for a football club), DEADLY MAYBE sees Manchester's rock n' roll titans become amateur sleuths who seek clues, ask dangerous questions and learn chilling truths that maybeeee they don't really wanna know.
Having written music reviews and mystery novels (The Psychic Barber Mystery series), author Phillip Mottaz brings both worlds together in Deadly Maybe, rock criticism, parody, humor and humour into a perfect celebrity mystery.
