One bullet, countless secrets, and a formula that could destroy everything.
Fourteen years ago, brilliant research scientist Dr. Ian McGuire was murdered in his home with a single shotgun blast. The investigation stalled with no leads, no suspects, and no motive. Now Detective Gus Freeman and his team are uncovering the shocking truth behind McGuire's death.
At the heart of the case lies a formula for a powerful drug, stolen from McGuire's lab and linked to a series of overdoses-and murder. As Gus digs deeper, the investigation collides with the unsolved murder of Terry Davis, a former officer silenced to protect dangerous secrets.
When one of Gus's team is kidnapped, the investigation explodes into a fight for survival, uncovering a network of corruption that threatens to destroy everything they've worked for. With his life on the line, Gus relies on calm deduction and careful procedure to untangle a web of lies, revenge, and betrayal.
Deadly Formula, the fourth instalment in the Freeman Files series, is a gripping cold-case mystery where every clue reveals darker truths, and justice comes at a dangerous price.
