All Joan could do was comfort her friend Robin in what is surely the worst moments of her life...Suspicious Circumstances. Fire rages through a home in a peaceful Boise, Idaho, subdivision in the wee hours of a foggy February morning-a man and two young children sleep inside. Robin Lee Row with her good friend Joan McHugh are helpless as they watch in shock and horror as Robin's entire family is lost in the flames. To everyone's surprise, the fire is determined to be arson and ruled a homicide and triple-murder case.
An Unlikely Suspect. Friends and neighbors are shocked that the grief-stricken widow quickly becomes the focus of the investigation. They are certain that authorities have made a terrible mistake. They are certain the loving wife, devoted mother, caring community advocate that they know and love is a victim of tragic cirumstances, not a murderer.
Faithful Friend. When police begin questioning Robin, Joan fights to prove her friend's innocence. Was Robin Lee Row the kind and compassionate person Joan knew her to be, or was she the cold and calculating serial killer/mass murderer that the police claimed she was?
