It is the year, 2018, and "Dead Man Seated" is poised to charm all visitors to the Washington, D.C. Naval Yard. With audacious aplomb, the dynamic Adm. Downey Armstrong is called to arms by Madam President. Expected to solve a collection of questionable undercover tasks, Downey's preferred solution is to dump on Capt. Mark Christian, his go-to buddy. The twenty-first century no longer requires clandestine meetings on park benches to eliminate the metaphoric wolf stalking the nation's slumber; the cell phone will do nicely. To be exact, let your fingers do the walk, let Marine Corps reservist, Maj. Jack Armstrong be your talk. While Jack's newest undercover team untangles Washington, D.C. skullduggery at the highest level, the fine print describes Jack and Annie's fun and camaraderie as they second guess conspiracy, embezzling, murder, and an overkill amount of romance. Mystery lovers who enjoyed Jack and Annie's dramatic climax in "Ten Days To Die For" may think they know the 'who or what' in "Dead Man Seated" but remember, Yogi Bera said it best: "It ain't over til' it's over."
