Dead Eye Will

William Riddle, at the age of thirteen, quickly earned the moniker of 'Dead Eye' in the War of 1812. Saving his regiment from an ambush by a long distance shot that killed an Indian chief and alerted the troops to their danger, he was instantly a hero.Rising to Lieutenant, Will retired from the army at war's end, but was soon to be serving as a special agent for Governor William Cass.
