About

This book is a continuation of the effort that began more than five years ago and culminated in the first collection of poems, Sunshine After Rain (2016). As before, many styles traditional, free, and blank verse are used to leave an imprint on the mind. While there are not many English haikus here, and some poems are atypical, like Temptation, others reflect Indian values and culture, like Moksha and Darkness Before Dawn. Altogether another refreshing collection, a companion volume to Sunshine After Rain. The title, Days of Open Hand, is an allusion to prayer, not gambling.
