Because Denny had been born in a strange secret room, he received the incredible gift of 'Day Eight', giving him an extra day in his life every week for ten weeks. Ten years later, the Day Eight story of Denny and Antoinette now continues in the prehistoric past and in the distant future, with other extra days including sport, history, comedy, hill walking, a television quiz, farming, music and even a meeting with a famous legendary figure. But Antoinette seems to know that something awful is going to happen, and she reveals that a mysterious threat can bring disaster. Denny tries to solve the problem they must face if Day Eight is to survive. Every reader of this book can sing a special song called 'Over the Bridge', which has been specially written by Brian Beresford. Search for it on YouTube (i2i Publishing channel), listen to it and sing along as the words appear on the screen. Brian Beresford is a writer, composer and songwriter. He visits many schools, and children love his story-telling approach. He hopes that readers aged 8 to 12 and beyond will love this sequel to the popular 'Day Eight'.
