About
DARK WINGS RISING: A SUPSENSE THRILLER!
If only Sam could have looked the other way.
Sam is suddenly promoted to his dream job, chief of IT for MC2, the energy consortium for the entire USA. When he discovers that his predecessor has vanished, he becomes suspicious. Despite warnings from his boss, Sam can't resist snooping to find out what happened. The more Sam pokes around, the more he realizes that MC2 is hiding something serious.
The suspense increases as Sam teams up with his wife and pastor to unveil one dark secret after another. Trapped in the compound, which is surrounded by razor wire and protected by a militia, they find themselves in a race to escape with their lives. Their only allies seem to be birds, which are acting strangely as if they are trying to help. Pursued by the militia, including an Apache helicopter, is it possible for them to expose these dark secrets to the world? Or, will they die?
Set in the mountains of Virginia in the near future, Dark Wings Rising features a David and Goliath style tale in which three ordinary people find themselves risking their lives to do the right thing when all the odds are stacked against them. Packed with page-turning suspense, Dark Wings Rising keeps the thrills coming! The most common comment is, "I couldn't put this book down!"
We know that birds, particularly crows, are intelligent. You will never look at birds the same again after watching them at work during this suspenseful novel. Their cleverness will amaze you.
Dark Wings Rising is a fast-paced, suspense-filled thriller that will keep the pages turning.
