Discover how intentional daily choices rooted in faith, family, and purpose can shape a life of peace, freedom, and a legacy that lasts for generations.
What if the simple choices you make every day are shaping not only your life, but the legacy you leave behind?
In Dancing for Quarters, Linda Masteller and her daughters share the powerful legacy of a husband, father, and pastor whose life continues to impact generations. After losing Rod Masteller unexpectedly from COVID-19 in 2020, his family set out to preserve the truths he lived and taught, truths that challenge one of life's most common traps: believing our worth comes from performance, achievement, or the approval of others.
Rod called it "dancing for quarters," spending our lives chasing applause and validation that never truly satisfy. Through personal crisis and spiritual awakening, he discovered a deeper truth: Our value is not earned from the world; it is rooted in God's unconditional love.
Through stories gathered from sermons, journals, and family memories, Linda and her four daughters invite readers into the heart of a family shaped by faith, intentionality, and love. Rod's life was marked not by perfection, but by the daily choices he made to love well, lead with integrity, and invest deeply in the people around him.
Structured around key life choices, this deeply personal and practical book encourages readers to build strong relationships, find hope in difficult seasons, break free from comparison and approval-seeking, and live with lasting purpose.
More than a story, Dancing for Quarters is an invitation to stop striving for worth and start building a life and legacy that truly lasts.
