Your toddler is asking the question that breaks your heart: "When will you come back?"
Dada Takes a Trip transforms goodbyes into gentle reassurance. Through soothing rhyme and warm illustrations, young children discover that love stays close-even when grown-ups have to leave.
A dad packs his bags but never packs away his love. A child learns that goodbyes are just pauses, not endings. With lyrical verses and expressive illustrations, this book gives families the words they need for hard moments-whether that moment comes at an airport, a doorway, or bedtime when the missing feels biggest.
Written for families navigating work travel, business trips, military deployment, overnight separations, and the quiet ache of bedtime anxiety, Dada Takes a Trip meets toddlers exactly where they are and gently guides them toward comfort and trust.
Ages 1-4 Perfect for bedtime reading, airport goodbyes, Father's Day, and any family with a traveling parent.
