Davids life teaches us how to press forward when the battle looks overwhelming, when the circumstances appear defeating, when life, family, friends and even God Himself seems to have left us in a state of utter darkness. David teaches us how to completely trust in the Lord with all of our heart, how to look past the temporary and see Gods plans and purposes in your life. The life of David guides us in how to walk by faith, to keep believing and how to never give up hope. David was a man after Gods own heart, yet he committed sin. I believe God has anointed this book and message, that we may glean from Davids life a treasure of wisdom and humility as well as strength and diligence, determination and destiny, thus giving us purpose and continuous progress.
