About
The story begins in a graveyard with three teenagers, smashed on cheap booze and cannabis, dabbling with a Ouija board. Private detective Banks and ex-cop, soon-to-be divorced Sarah Moore are called in by millionaire car dealer father of 'psychopath' 15-year-old Steven Wilson to investigate his involvement in various suicides linked to a kind of chatroom for the dead called 'Inheritance'. Why does Steven take on the identity of deceased boy soldier Shaun Peters who died at the Somme, and what are the stakes? And what is his connection to Newtown's bad boy, Jones?
Are Superintendent Kathleen Ramsey and her team working with or against Banks and Moore to discover who murdered Jones and can white witch Emily Charlton shed light on the history of the boy soldier?
