Libby thought summer in Southport would be all sunshine and seaside charm. Murder brought a plot twist she never saw coming.
Southport is all in for Pirate Week, and Page's Bookshop is suddenly pirate central. With the town buzzing over a rumored map to hidden treasure, Libby Page is surrounded by costumes, gossip and customers eager for a little adventure-until a murder turns the celebration into a crime scene.
As Libby and her sharp-witted assistant, Gracie Jean, start pulling at threads, they uncover a case tangled with old grudges, local legends and secrets someone would kill to protect. And with treasure fever sweeping through Southport, Libby realizes this mystery is about more than pirate stories and town excitement. It is about greed, deception and a trail of clues leading somewhere dangerous.
With suspects piling up and the whole town chasing rumors, Libby must find the truth before the killer gets there first.
Covered in Clues is the fourth book in the Cape Fear Bookshop Mysteries-a coastal mystery featuring former book editor Libby Page.
Each book contains a complete mystery, but the first six books are tied together by a larger puzzle. For the full experience, read them in order.
