Conversion

Two boys grow to manhood and remain best friends despite differences in race, religion, and political views. Historical fiction from early 1960s to early 1980s, the action takes place in Panama, Thailand, and America. The boys come of age in challenging times and situations, supporting each other through riots, tragedy, dating, college, grief, professional life, marriage, and children. One of them is assassinated and the other knows the truth. No one who has read the book has guessed the ending!
