look at the sky. As if it were a mirror, It reflects my feelings-uneasiness, fear. Life often brings us experiences, both painful and joyful, that nurture the wisdom, inspiration, and love within ourselves. Through reflection, we are offered an opportunity to evaluate where we have been, how we got there, and how to understand the new person who has emerged from those experiences. In a volune inspired by loved ones, nature, animals, and her relationship with the divine, Mary Lichtenberger shares poems that explore the experiences that led her to overcome challenging moments, and transform painful experiences into images that nurtured her inner self and helped her feel worthy, content, loved, and valuable. As she identifies the feelings and emotions that prompted a state of despair, she lyrically discloses how she found her way out through uplifting mental conversations, prayer, and affirmations. Conversations with Myself is a collection of inspirational poems that reminds others to recognize and nurture the wisdom and love within to begin living their best lives.
