Terror. That's how I would describe that day in one word. Witnessing...being apart of something so horrific made it nearly impossible for me to forget. The nightmares plagued me. The demons silenced me. My life was crumbling, water was filling my lungs and I was drowning so fast I didn't know how to stop it...until him. I trusted, loved someone once and they betrayed me. The boy with pale blue eyes wanted me to trust him, to let him be my voice...but I was afraid to go down that road again. Being labeled a 'survivor' only caused more harm than good.
