Conan the Conqueror

The only Conan novel by his original creator.

Conan the Barbarian, now a king, is caught up in a plot to overthrow him. His would-be deposers have resurrected an ancient and malevolent necromancer. Conan must venture to find the mysterious Heart of Ahriman in order to triumph over this fiend and reclaim his throne. It was the basis for the film Kull the Conqueror (though with a different protagonist), and was also published as The Hour of the Dragon.
