Laura McDonald, a fresh, young graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill School of Journalism heads to Richmond, Va. to begin her career as a journalist for the Richmond Daily News. While covering her very first story, the campaign of U.S. Senatorial Candidate Thomas Oliver Moore, she gets so caught up in his personal life that she becomes obsessed with it.
