Would you do whatever it took to forget a painful past, even if it meant feeling nothing again? Brandon Richter just wants to sleep and forget. Seeking to leave every memory and reminder of his former life behind, Brandon leaves his hometown of Springfield, Missouri for the obscure town of Coma, California, hoping to fade away and be left to himself. However, as Brandon crosses paths with the residents of Coma- namely a young woman named Becca- he finds in them a remarkable kindness that makes it difficult to remain in isolation. Despite his efforts to project his apathy and keep everyone at bay, their genuine concern for him draws Brandon out, awakening him to something he never dared to feel again: HOPE.
