Nothing in common between them, apart from an ostentatious aversion to Christmas and the cynicism with which they prepare to face the most celebrated holiday of the year.
But a chance meeting could turn their lives upside down forever.
Angie Bloom, a young woman with a past to forget but still too fragile and compliant to be able to leave it behind permanently, works as a waitress in a cafeteria in downtown New York. She has little hope for the future and she fears that her dream of becoming a fashion designer will never come true.
Edward Wiser, a Harvard graduate with honors, has just landed his dream job at a prestigious law firm right in downtown New York. He is ambitious and ready to do anything to achieve his goals, even to give up his ideals, his integrity.
Their encounter-clash takes place completely by chance, in a morning like any other. They have different lives, different aspirations, the only thing they perhaps have in common is the aversion to the approaching Christmas holidays. And both are looking forward to getting over the inconvenience as soon as possible, smoothly, without hindrance. But a new and unstoppable feeling threatens to involve them and change their perspectives forever.
Will the magic of Christmas touch their hearts and unite their destinies?
