Monkey is tricked into making a deal that could change the course of his life forever. It's a deal with the devil, actually with seven of his minions.
The fantastical adventure begins at the Carnival-a place of illusion, a full departure from wisdom. It's a selfish place of foolish pursuits. Carrots of every kind intoxicate the mind and lure you into forgetting who you really are. Monkey has convinced himself he is a rabbit and unknowingly makes a pact that will rob his soul. Before it's too late, Monkey (Rabbit) must rediscover his true purpose and reawaken dreams of the past.
Chasing Carrots is the first book by Jimi Gibson. This timeless fable is for anyone who has ever had a dream that has been buried under a life of distractions. Perhaps life hasn't turned out the way you planned?
Monkey's story will teach you that if you earnestly seek to understand your gift, give it away; it will come back to you more precious than you imagined. You will live your life with a new purpose, a new direction, and with a new appreciation for who you are meant to be. You will enjoy the quirky cast of characters Monkey meets along the way and treasure the lessons they teach.
