He's an outcast, occasionally unstable, drinks too much... and unbeknownst to him, he's the galaxy's last hope. Kai Stormbringer, a human Aetherial with the ability to channel a strange magical force called Aether, becomes a reluctant hero after one bad night forces him to put his trust in a cast of outlandish characters. Against all odds, and sometimes each other, they must put their differences aside to survive seedy underbellies, space battles, and a crazed Galactic Imperium captain hellbent on wiping out the few remaining Aetherials from existence. Chaos and Consequences is the first novel in the Aetherial War series, and will take the crew of the Midnight Crescent on a galaxy-spanning adventure across alien worlds. This is just the beginning of the conflict known as: The Aetherial War.
