One galaxy isn't big enough to hold Jack Storm in his quest for truth. Amber has been subliminally programmed to kill-and Jack is just as determined to stop her. His skill and his battle armor may not be enough to succeed. Both their pasts have caught up with them as the newly formed Knight guards of the empire are sent to Bythia to stop a Thrakian incursion and monitor a diplomatic mission. As the Thraks move to turn another world into nothing but sand to raise their young, Jack hunts the mastermind who allies with them in secret. He and Amber will need all the weapons at their disposal, sanctioned and otherwise, to save Bythia.
