Discovering the truth could be the death of her. Samantha is a journalist who longs to investigate a big story that will launch her career. In a search for her big break, she comes across a little-reported press story in India. A hotelier - Amit Joshi — has been accused of rape but exonerated when it is revealed he is female. Samantha, believing there is more to the story, begins to investigate, helped by colleague Gregory whose brother, Simon, works for the British High Commission in Delhi. But as more comes to light, Simon is found brutally murdered. And when Gregory travels to India to discover what happened to his brother, he goes missing. With the authorities seemingly unable to help, Samantha heads to India to search for Gregory and discover the truth behind Amit's story and Simon's murder. But thrown into a dark underworld with danger at every turn, discovering the truth could prove to be the death of not just the story but Samantha herself... Murder and deceit abound in the exotic backstreets of India in Julie Newman's compelling new thriller. What readers are saying about Cast No Shadow: "An exciting and compelling read."
