About
Poet Alari Alare showcases the beauty of creative writing in her new poetry collection that conveys an important message. Her words are the definition of poetry with reason, bridging the gap between imagery and day-to-day literal.
Her poems fearlessly mirror nonfunctional systems of governance in various institutions from top to bottom. Candidly, she flaunts veiled corruption as well as its after-effects. She shields social norms from suppression while equally embracing intelligence, dignity, and humanity despite what some might consider our doomed modern culture.
These poems are observations but interpretations too from a woman who has watched the world carefully and seen it grow, evolve, and in some cases, devolve. Yet through the tangle of governments gone wrong, there is still hope as Alare sings a song to the star-crossed, hoping to rekindle their lives and give them hope for better days ahead.
