With splashes of white under her neck and on her chest, Casey is a little black Labrador retriever mixed-breed puppy. She is so happy when Sam and Kathy adopt her from the city’s animal shelter.
Casey not only gives her heart to Sam but to the delightful swift moving stream behind their home. Casey’s frisky antics give Sam a whole new outlook on life. Sam joins Casey on her years-long quest of finding perfection in the bed of her beloved stream. The search for her treasure takes Casey on a magical journey which not only holds a surprising revelation to her, but to Sam as well.
A picture book for children, Casey and the Perfect Rock not only shares the story of Casey, but also communicates the special bond that exists between a faithful dog and its loving owner.
