A story that was inspired by the artwork hanging on a wall at an exhibit at "The Phillips Collection," Washington, D.C. There, centered in the midst of an exhibit featuring renowned artist Alma Thomas, noticing a plaque which read, "Mary Beth Edelson, b. 1933, East Chicago, Indiana; d. 2021, Ocean Grove, New Jersey, "Some Living American Women Artists," 1972. After further research, I discovered in "Circa 1971, artist Mary Beth Edelson led protests over the exclusion of women artists from that year's Corcoran Gallery of Art Biennial."
