In a city full of reckless super-humans and an openly oppressed vampire minority, peace is little more than a pipe-dream. Paparazzi circle like vultures in search of action, and after a disillusioned young woman named Kennedy Raincoe snaps a viral photo of a never-before-seen "hero," she suddenly finds herself being recruited into their ranks.
